Kathy Marie Chaney

Kathy Marie Chaney, 58, of Creston, died Monday, Nov. 14, 2016 a Life Care of Medina following a lengthy illness. Kathy was born Feb. 12, 1958 in Somerset, PA to David and Ruth (May) Hampe and married David Chaney on Sept. 2, 1989. He preceded her in death on Dec. 8, 2013. Kathy enjoyed doing crafts and quilting and was an avid collector. Surviving are sons, Charles (Wendy) Rogers and Jeremy Rogers both of Brunswick; 2 step-grandchildren; her father, David Hampe of Somerset, PA; a brother, David (Virginia) Hampe of Creston; sisters, Sue Workman of Dalton, Rose (Paul Cain) Hampe of Seville and Rachel (Gary) Lockhart of Creston and nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her husband, a son Joshua Rogers, her mother, Ruth Taylor and a sister, Brenda Morris. Services will be Friday, Nov. 18th at 2:00 p.m. at Murray Funeral Home in Creston with Rev. Larry Rickey officiating. Friends may call one hour prior to services.
