Kathryn A. Dickerson

Kathryn A. Dickerson, 96, of Warsaw, OH formerly of Medina, went home to be with the Lord on Wednesday, May 3, 2017 after a period of declining health. Kathryn was born April 24, 1921 in Newark to the late Edgar and Nellie (Montgomery) Price and was a graduate of Newark High School. On Jan. 2, 1946 she married Rev. Charles H. Dickerson and he preceded her in death on June 6, 2006. She had made her home in Medina for nearly 50 years where her husband pastored the Medina Church of God and more recently attended the Newark Church of God. She enjoyed spending her time quilting and will be greatly missed. Surviving are her daughter and son-in-law, Sharon and John Lahmon of Warsaw; grandchildren, Debbie Comston, Andrew (Dee) Lahmon, Cheryl (Randy) Moore, Christy (Dan) Kosikowski and Matthew Lahmon; 18 great-grandchildren and 16 great-great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband; a daughter, Becky Runion, a brother, Paul Price and sisters, Lillian Robinson and Irene Vargo. Friends may call Monday, May 8th from 4-7 p.m. at the Medina Church on God, 6745 Wooster Pike, Medina. Funeral services will be Tuesday, May 9th at 1:00 p.m. at the Newark Church of God – God’s Acres where friends may call from 10:00 a.m. until time of services.
