Kathleen Mary (Ptak) Reiss

Kathleen Mary Reiss, 79, of Doylestown,  OH, passed away peacefully with the Lord on Tuesday, Jan. 11, 2022 at home after a period of declining health. Kathy was born in Cleveland on March 2, 1942 to the late Martin and Catherine (Dailey) Ptak.  She was a 1960 graduate of West Tech High School and retired from the J.M. Smucker Co. in Orrville.  Kathy enjoyed reading, journaling and writing poetry.  She loved her grandchildren with all of her heart and she enjoyed watching the Browns with her sons. She will be greatly missed by her 4 children, Scott (Kim) Reiss of Delphos, OH, Wendy (Greg) Nocera of Lima, OH, Christopher (Wendy) Reiss of Peoria, AZ and Joy Reiss Harrell of Doylestown; her grandchildren, Ali, Taylor, Drew, Marty, Trent, Christian and Krystal; great-granddaughters, Brook and Kinsley; her brother and sister, Dale Ptak of Cleveland and Eileen Thorsell  of Burbank and nieces and nephew, Debbie, Deanna, Shawn, Shannon and Charis and many great nieces and nephews.
