Katherine Marie "Kathy" Brown

Katherine Marie “Kathy” Brown, 62, of Holmesville, passed away Wednesday, Feb. 3, 2021 at Pomerene Hospital in Millersburg after a lengthy battle with Multiple Sclerosis.

Kathy was born March 19, 1958 in Glenmont to the late Kenneth and Genevieve (Stewart) Williams and married Arthur “Art” Brown on April 11, 1975.  She had made her home in Holmesville most of her life and had worked at Meta-Fab in Fredericksburg for nearly 20 years.  Kathy enjoyed working in her flower gardens, paints and doing crafts and cross stitching.

She will be greatly missed by her husband, Art; sons and daughters-in-laws, Kenneth and Christina Brown of Shreve and Michael and Mandy Brown of Holmesville; grandchildren, Hunter, Marissa, Faith and Emma; a brother and sister and their spouses, Harry and Deb Williams of Creston and Mary and Don Tillapaw of Brewster; sisters-in-laws and their husbands, Elma and Jams Hannah and Frances and Bill Nichols all of West Virginia and Margaret and Arch Rush of Loudonville and nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents and an infant granddaughter, Celeste.

Services will be Saturday, Feb. 6th at 2:00 p.m. at Murray Funeral Home in Fredericksburg with Rev.
