June Charlotte Yoder, 79, of Fredericksburg, passed away peacefully, surrounded by her loving family, on Monday, Feb. 28, 2022 at LifeCare Hospice in Wooster after a courageous battle with cancer.
June was born on Oct. 19, 1942 in Millersburg and was the daughter of Oscar L. and Mabel L. (Burgan) Feikert. She graduated from Highland High School in 1961 and attended Carnegie Institute of Technology in Cleveland. June had worked as a Lab Technician at the hospitals in Wooster and Millersburg and later worked for 23 years at the Holmes County District Public Library. June was a member of St. John's Lutheran Church in Mount Hope and the Ladies Aid Society and was a member of the GLOW Bible Study Group at the Fredericksburg Presbyterian Church. June enjoyed gardening, reading, decorating her home, traveling and genealogy. She loved caring for her grandchildren and attending their school and sporting events and she always enjoyed being with her family.
Surviving are her two children, Sherri and Brent Brown of Fredericksburg and Greg Yoder and Patricia Patterson of Killbuck; her five grandchildren, Olivia and Emma Brown and Jaylin, Carson and Aveona Yoder; brothers, Tim and Linda Feikert of Fredericksburg and Lynn and Sheila Feikert Millersburg and several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents.
Services will be Saturday, March 5th at 11:00 a.m. at St. John's Lutheran Church in Mount Hope. Burial will be in the West Lawn Cemetery at Winesburg.
