June M. Brothers

June M. Brothers, 97, of Creston, passed away on Friday, Oct. 14, 2022 at The Avenue of Medina after a brief illness.

June was born on June 2, 1925 in Wheeling, WV and was the daughter of the late William and Nora (Keeble) Morris.  She had worked all of her life having worked until the age of 78 years old and was a lifetime member of the VFW Post 3445 Auxiliary in Anna, IL.  June enjoyed playing Bingo and loved being with her family.

Surviving are her children, William Stephen (Joanie) Brothers of Creston with whom she made her home and Sharon Harward of Cobden, IL;  grandchildren, Joette Cochran, Wendy Brothers and Robert Brothers and several great-grandchildren.  She was preceded in death by her sons, Robert Morris Brothers, James Michael Brothers, Tommy Lee Brothers; a grandson, Scott Brothers and a sister, Jackie Goodman.

A family service will be held in Jonesboro, IL.
