Judy Lucille (Miller) Schlauch

Judy Lucille Schlauch, 79, of Wooster passed away peacefully on Tuesday, Jan. 16, 2024 after a brief battle with cancer. Judy was born on May 5, 1944 in Millersburg to the late William and Mildred (Ridenbaugh) Miller and was a 1963 graduate of Waynedale High School. On Nov. 5, 1967 she married Harry C. Schlauch and he survives. Judy had worked at Data Card and at Shreve Printing before babysitting in her home. She was a member of Moreland United Methodist Church and enjoyed sewing, having made many blankets for Project Linus. Judy also quilted having made a quilt for all her family members. Judy dearly loved her grandchildren and her dogs and cats and she will be greatly missed. Surviving is her husband, Harry; sons and daughters-in-law, Scott and Janine Schlauch, Steven Schlauch and Ron and Susan Schlauch: grandchildren, Conner (Cassie), Madelyn, Camden and Hannah; great-grandson, Josiah; brothers, Paul and Ginny Miller and Harold Miller; sister Linda Martin and nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, a grandson, Gage and brother-in-law, Dale Martin. Services will be Saturday, Jan. 20th at 12:00 noon at Moreland United Methodist Church with Pastor Jennifer Darling-Mellott officiating. Burial will be in Moreland Cemetery. Friends may call from 10:00 a.m. until time of service on Saturday at the church.  Memorial contributions may be made to LifeCare Hospice, 1900 Akron Rd.
