Judith A. Cherry

Judith A. Cherry, 75, of Wooster, died peacefully on Friday, April 6, 2018 at LifeCare Hospice in Wooster. Judy was born Dec. 13, 1942 in Ashland to the late Jay and Helen (Morrison) Kauffman and was a 1961 graduate of Norwayne High School. She retired from Hardin’s-Sysco Food Service in Memphis and had previously worked at Gray Drugs in Wooster. Surviving are her son and daughter-in-law, David and Cindy Hinkel of Mattawan, MI; daughter and son-in-law, Diana and Patrick Tucker of Wooster; 4 grandchildren, Jay (Mary) Hinkel, Elley Hinkel, Sarah Hinkel and Claire Hinkel; brother, Charles (Melody) Kauffman of Yulee, FL a sister, Bernice (Charles) Ecker of Wooster and nieces and nephews and cousins. She was preceded in death by her husband John Cherry in 2016, her parents and a son, Michael Hinkel in 2002. Family burial services were held Monday, April 9th at Canaan Cemetery.
