Joyce Ann Mair

Joyce Ann Mair, 70, of Wooster, died Wednesday, May 29, 2019 at Smithville-Western Care Center after a period of declining health.

Joyce was born June 25, 1948 in Wadsworth to the late Joseph and Esther (Whitman) Sohar and was a graduate of Norwayne High School.  On July 28, 1979 she married George W. Mair and he preceded her in death on Dec. 12, 2000. She had previously been married to Kenneth Corbin who died in 1985.  She had worked for several years at United Telephone and enjoyed doing crafts, sewing and baking.

Surviving are her sons, Kenneth Scott (Amanda) Corbin of Louisville, OH, Douglas Anthony (Jean) Mair of Hightstown, NJ and Christopher James Mair of Japan; a step-daughter, Kathy Mair of New Jersey;  3 grandchildren, Courtney, Justin and Evan Corbin; a brother, Richard (Kathleen) Sohar of Creston and a sister, Mary Jo Sohar of Rittman.

Services will be Monday, June 3rd at 11:00 a.m. at Murray Funeral Home in Creston where friends may call one hour prior to services.  Burial will be in Sherwood Memorial Gardens.  Tributes may be shared at www.Murray-Funeral-Home.com
