Joshua David Lee

Joshua David Lee, 34, of Creston, passed away at home on Thursday, June 8, 2023 after a sudden illness.

Josh was born on May 30, 1989 in Mansfield to Ronald and Christa (Pfleider) Lee.  He married Ashleigh Geitgey on Oct. 25, 2008 and she survives.  Josh was a truck driver and worked for Aqua Man Water Hauling in Wooster. He attended the Now Church in Wadsworth and enjoyed spending time camping, fishing, fixing go cars and scooters.  He was an Ohio State and Cleveland Browns football fan and a Cleveland Indians fan but most of all he loved spending time with his three boys.

He will be greatly missed by his wife, Ashleigh; his sons, Dakotah David, Riley Michael and Oliver Keith; his mother and step-father, Christa and Dirk Simmons; brother and sisters, Matthew (Allannah) Lee, Karrianne (Jay) Lee and Amber (Drea) Lee; grandmother, Sandra Abraham;  his mother-in-law, Cyndi Geitgey, father-in-law, Keith Geitgey; brother-in-law, Allan (Crystal) Geitgey, sister-in-law, Megan (Wesley) Schwartz; Ashleigh’s grandparents, Tuula and Melvin Fitzpatrick and Martha and Keith Geitgey; his best friend, Jason Trent and many friends and family that loved him.

Services will be Tuesday, June 13th at 2:00 p.m. at Murray Funeral Home in Creston with Pastor Jeremy Stasiowski officiating.  Burial will be in Creston Maple Mound Cemetery.  Friends may call from 12:00-2:00 p.m. on Tuesday at the funeral home.
