Josh Eugene Morris

Josh Eugene Morris, 26, of West Salem, passed away on Thursday, Aug. 18, 2022 at OhioHealth Systems in Mansfield from injuries from a truck accident.

Josh was born on Jan. 3, 1996 to Mark E. and Minnie J. (Adkins) Morris and was a 2015 graduate of Northwestern High School and the Wayne County Schools Career Center.  On Aug. 5, 2017 he married the love of his life, Danielle M. Smith and she survives.  Josh was employed at Centerra Co-Op  as a truck driver for the past year.  Josh enjoyed riding side-by-sides and motorcycles, working on cars and water skiing.  He  loved camping with family and friends and he will be greatly missed.

Surviving are her wife, Danielle; his daughter, Kora, son, Kolt and baby daughter, Kali who is expected in September; his parents, Mark and Minnie Morris of Wooster; his twin brother, Jeremey and Paige Morris and nieces Annie and Tessa of West Salem; brother, Tony and Chelsea Morris of Rittman; father-in-law and mother-in-law, Dan and Pam Smith of West Salem; sisters-in-law and brothers-in-law and their families, Amanda Smith of Wisconsin, Hailey  and Cody Horet and children, Christopher, Amara and Preston of West Salem; Deven and Amber Moore and children, Jackson and Sawyer of Illinois and Dakota and Brooklyn Smith and son Weston of Seville and grandmothers, Shirley Morris of Seville and Mary Adkins of Wooster.

He was preceded in death by grandfathers, Robert Morris and Elmer Yoho.

Services will be Wednesday, Aug. 24th at 2:00 p.m. at Murray Funeral Home in Creston with burial following in Creston Maple Mound Cemetery.  Friends may call Tuesday from 4-7 p.m. at the funeral home.  Memorial contributions may be made to the Josh Morris Funeral Cost gofundme account
