Joseph A. Byers Sr.

Joseph A. Byers 71 off Millersburg, OH passed away peacefully March 23, 2025 after a short battle with cancer.

He was born April 7, 1953 to Herbert and Hazel Byers of Sun, WV where he was raised and attended school. He married Linda Foster on October 5, 1974, his true love that held his hand to the end. Besides being a faithful lifelong employee of the lumber industry , he genuinely loved to stay busy with yard work and other various projects. But he would drop it all at the chance to take his grandkids fishing or for a ride on the mower.

He was preceded in death by his daughter Virginia Plant, both parents and two sisters, Doris Baughan and Lucille Baker. He is survived by his wife of 50 years Linda Byers, sons Terry ( Darcey) Byers of Leadville, Co and Joseph Jr of Millersburg, OH, brothers Herbert, Paul, Cecil, Herman, Royal and Donny, sisters Delilah White and Lois Baird, Grandchildren Terry Jr, Samantha ( Farrell), Joshua, Adrianna, and Hunter Byers, Kiana and Becka Byers, Jonathan and Lillian Plant, great grandchildren Remae, Farrah, Harmony and Melody, along with many nieces and nephews.

He was a member of the Millersburg Church of God.
