Josefina L. Hostetler, 75, of Wooster, passed away on Wednesday, Feb. 12, 2025 at Akron General Hospital.

Josie was born on November 5,1949 in Harlingen, TX to Juan and Celia (Aldape) Lozano.  She married Sam Hostetler on Sept. 17, 2016 and made her home in Wooster since that time. Josie was always a lady who enjoyed decorating her home, cooking her Mexican cuisine and traveling.

Surviving is her husband, Sam; daughters, Patricia Duran Fabela and Ruth Duran Vindiola; step-children, Michele Mays, Jonas Hostetler and Jessica Hostetler and several grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by a son, Antonio Duran and a step-son, Joshua Hostetler.

Services will be Sunday, Feb. 16th at 3:00 p.m. at Murray Funeral Home in Fredericksburg where friends may call from 2:00 p.m. until time of services. Burial will be Fredericksburg East Cemetery.
