Johnny E. Miller, 55, of 7270 Harrison Rd., Fredericksburg, died peacefully at home, surrounded by his family, on Wednesday Jan. 11, 2023, after a one year courageous battle with Leukemia.

Johnny was born on Dec. 27, 1967 in Wayne County to Eli J. and Lydia (Hostetler) Miller, and married Barbara J. Either on Sept. 13, 1988. He was a member of the Old Order Amish Church.

Surviving is his wife, Barbara; his seven children three sons and four daughters, Jacob (Miriam) Miller of Fredericksburg, Verna (Paul) Hilty of Adamsville, Leah (Marvin) Hostetler of Wooster, Naomi (Wayne) Hostetler and Susan (Jonathan) Hostetler both of Fredericksburg and Owen Miller and Andrew Miller both of the home; 14 grandchildren; four brothers and four sisters, Verna (John) Yoder of Loudonville, Joni (Amanda) Miller of New Concord, Eli Jr. (Verna) Miller of Munfordville, KY, Barbara (Eli) Hostetler of Holmesville, Edna (Jerome) Byler of Sandy Lake, PA, Reuben (Barbara) Miller of Fredericksburg, Rachel (Andy) Hostetler of Utica, PA and Andrew (Amanda) Miller of Fredericksburg, a sister-in-law, Elizabeth Miller of Adamsville.

He was preceded in death by his father and mother and a brother, William.

Funeral Services will be Friday, Jan. 13th at 9:00 a.m. at the home with Bishop Atlee E. Hostetler officiating. Burial is in Troyer Cemetery, Wayne County. Friends may call after 5:00 p.m. on Wednesday and anytime on Thursday at the home. The family is very grateful for the services LifeCare Hospice provided. Murray Funeral Home in Fredericksburg  is handling the arrangements.
