John A. Younker

John A. Younker, 71, of Orrville and formerly of Creston and Rittman passed away on Monday, Sept. 21, 2020 at Aultman Hospital in Canton after a brief illness.

John was born Sept. 1, 1949 in Wooster to the late Paul and Helen (Dunlap) Younker and was a graduate of Norwayne High School.  On April 24, 1971 he married Lucinda Fry and she preceded him in death on Oct. 30, 2012.  John had worked at the PCA in Rittman for many years and enjoyed model railroading

Surviving are his son, Christopher and his fiancé Angie Garens of Orrville, a grandson, Aidan Younker and a sister and brother-in-law, Cheryl “Dee” and Ron Hamilton of Wooster.

He was preceded in death by his wife and his parents. There will be no services. Contributions may be made to Murray Funeral Home, 173 S. Main St., Creston, OH 44217 for final expenses.
