John Michael Feltey

John Michael Feltey, 60, of Wooster, passed away peacefully at home on Tuesday, July 18, 2023               after a brief battle with cancer.

John was born on March 16, 1963 in Belleville, New Jersey to John Feltey and Cathy Hemhauser.  He had made his home in Florida for most of his life where he worked for Brookdale Assisted Living Center in Seminole, FL.  He moved to Wooster in 2019 and was a member of Day Break Church in Wooster.  John enjoyed camping, fishing, woodworking and tinkering around the house.  He will be greatly missed by his family and friends.

Surviving is his companion, Barbara Van Pelt who he shared the past 10 wonderful years with; his mother, Cathy Noren and his father, John Feltey; brothers, Brian Moore and John J. Feltey and sisters, Michelle Brown, Nancy Feltey and Maryanne Hutchinson.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Dianne

Celebration of John’s life will be held on Saturday, July 29th at 1:00 p.m. at Day Break Church with a lunch following at the church.  John will be interred in Calvary Cemetery  in Clearwater, FL.  Murray Funeral Home is handling arrangements.
