Joh Ann "Angie" Wolfe

Joh Ann S. “Angie” Wolfe, 76, of Rittman, passed away peacefully on Friday, Sept. 23, 2022 at the Wayne County Care Center after a brief illness with cancer.

Angie was born on March 26, 1946 in Wooster and was the daughter of Walter L. and Faye I. (Weahry) Odenkirk.  She graduated from Wooster High School and had worked at Shady Lawn Nursing Home in Dalton and at Altercare of Wadsworth.  On Nov. 22, 1979 she married Herbert C. Wolfe and had made her home in Rittman since that time.  Herb preceded her in death on July 21, 2015.  Angie loved horses and her dogs having raised Yorkshire Terriers and was a member of the Wayne County Saddle Club.

Angie was a mother of two daughters and two sons having been preceded in death by a son.  She was a grandmother and a dear friend.

Services will be Tuesday, Sept. 27th at 5:00 p.m. at Murray Funeral Home in Creston with Rev. Glenn Griffith officiating. Friends may call from 4:00 p.m. until time of services.  In honoring Angie’s wishes, cremation will follow.  Tributes may be shared at www.Murray-Funeral-Home.com
