Joel W. Gross

Joel W. Gross, 80, of Creston, passed away on Wednesday, August 23, 2023 at Regency West Hospital in Middleburg Heights.

Joel was born on April 5, 1943 in Covington, VA to Joel C. and Louise (Thompson) Gross.  He retired from RPM in Medina after 35 years and enjoyed spending time on the computer and spoiling his dog, Petey.

Joel is survived by his wife, Nancy (Householder) Gross; children, Leon (Joyce) Hosey of Sissonville, WV, Darrel (Theresa Porch) Gross of Brunswick and Lisa (Rick) Whitley of Creston; 8 grandchildren and 4 great-grandchildren and a sister, Margaret Phillips of Medina.

Joel was preceded in death by his parents, his first wife, Tiny Alice (Gregory) Gross, a grandson, Brandon and a brother, Charles Gross.

Friends may call Friday, Sept. 1st from 1:00 p.m. until time of services at 2:00 p.m. at Murray Funeral Home in Creston.  Burial will be at a later date at Spring Grove Cemetery in Medina.
