Joanne Elaine Whytsell

Joanne Elaine Whytsell, 62, of Wooster went home home to be with the Lord on Friday, Sept. 17, 2021.

Joanne was born on March 2, 1959 in Wooster to the late Frank Jr. and Lucille (Malcuit) Morrison and was a 1978 graduate on Waynedale High School. On April 3, 1987 she married her soulmate, Mark W. Whytsell and he preceded her in death on Aug. 16, 2004. Joanne had worked at Akro Corp. and later at the BellStore in Holmesville until retiring and was a Fredericksburg area resident all of her life. She enjoyed Hallmark Movies, shopping and “chillin” at home and  had a wonderful sense of humor and was always a joy to be around.

Surviving are her daughter and son-in-law, Mandy and Luke Houchins; step-sons, Mark (Alisha) Whytsell and Matt (Elise) Whytsell: her grandson, Kaden Oaks who was her pride and joy; step-grandchildren, Kolcyn and Kadence Houchins; brothers and sisters,  Dean Morrison, Janet Ball, Paul Morrison and Jean Price and several nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Mark and her parents.

Services will be held on Tuesday, Sept. 21st at 2:00 p.m. at Murray Funeral Home in Fredericksburg where friends may call from 12:00 until time of services at 2:00 p.m. Burial will be in Prairie Township Cemetery. Tributes may be shared at www.Murray-Funeral-Home.com
