Joan N. Clevidence, 73, of Burbank, died unexpectedly on Wednesday, Oct. 5, 2016 at Lodi Community Hospital. Joan was born Sept. 20, 1943 in Lodi to the late Frank and Hazel (Sifread) Shoulter and graduated from Black River High. She retired after 25 years from the Westfield Companies and enjoyed senior bus trips, caring to her flowers, the birds and the animals, reading and watching crime solving programs on television. Her greatest enjoyment was her grandchildren that she truly loved. Surviving are her husband, Ronald “Ron” Clevidence whom she married in 1963; daughter, Jodi Moncrease of Canton; son and daughter-in-law, Todd and Gail Clevidence of Wooster; grandchildren, Brandon Wright, Jasmine Price, Emily Clevidence and Dylan Clevidence and sisters, Delores Denbow of Sullivan and Patricia Alexander of Missouri. Service will be Sunday at 4:00 p.m. at Murray Funeral Home in Creston where friends may call from 2-4 p.m. on Sunday. Graveside services will be Monday at 1:00 p.m. at Southview Cemetery in Sullivan.
