Jimmie E. Hanshaw

Jimmie E. Hanshaw, 54, of Creston, passed away on Sunday, Jan. 11, 2026, at her home after a brief illness.

She was born on Aug. 17, 1971, in Bristol, VA to James Edward and Kathy Jean (McGlothlin) Fisher. On July 5, 1998 she married Larry Hanshaw and he survives. Jimmie had worked at several companies of the years that included Triway Veal, UPS, Rayco and with Larry in their tire shop. She loved the outdoors having enjoyed camping, hiking and hunting for arrowheads. Jimmie enjoyed going to the Mud Runs at Danville and she is remembered for being a wonderful photographer.

Surviving is her husband, Larry; her daughter, Jessica Coe and her son Jordan Hanshaw.

Jimmie was a private person and requested no public services.
