Jerry Lee Rinehart

Jerry Lee Rinehart, 65, of Rittman, went home to be with his loved ones on Monday, March 28, 2022 at Medina Hospital after a long battle with failing health.

He was born on Oct. 23, 1956 in Huntington, WV to the late James W. and Audra Violet (Shreve) Rinehart and had worked for Carlisle Brake and Friction Company.  Jerry loved music and had played in a band where he was known as the “Sleeping Base Man”.  He enjoyed hunting, fishing and camping and get togethers with family and friends were always a great and memorable time.

Jerry will be missed by his wife, Marie (Zawaski) Rinehart who he married on July 31, 2010; children, Oakey (Heather) Rinehart, Jennifer (Chris) Ridenour, Jeremy (Abby) Rinehart and Jessica (Chris) Yancey; step-daughters, Samantha Zawaski, Amber Gandee and Amanda Gandee and 8 grandchildren and 3 step-grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his parents, brothers, Thomas and Jimmy Rinehart and a sister, Shirley Sue Minor.
