Jerry Todd Meeder of 8657 Township Road 527, Shreve, Ohio, and formerly of Ripley, NY has passed on to heavenly greener pastures. Jerry was born on December 26th, 1961, in Westfield, New York. Jerry passed away on October 24th, 2026, while at Ohio’s Hospice LifeCare in Wooster, Ohio after a fight with pancreatic cancer and a tractor accident two and a half years prior to his diagnosis.

Jerry’s parents Lura & John Meeder of Ripley, New York, have preceded him in death. Jerry grew up on a family dairy farm in Ripley, NY. He attended school in Sherman, NY along with his wonderful friend Ed Smith. He and his wife Alexa were wonderful friends to Jerry. Jerry is one of eight children and is survived by siblings, Michael J. Meeder of Sherman, NY, Ronald Meeder and his wife Bonnie of Ripley, NY, Denny Meeder and Nancy, of Clymer, NY, Rick and his wife, Cherie Meeder, of Clymer, NY, Marilyn Bush and her husband Roger of Erie, PA, Susie Webber and her husband Clayton of Corry, PA, and Betsy Brown and her husband Ron. Several nieces and nephews also survive.

Ginger, his wife survives, along with their two dogs, Oscar Luigi and Sarah Beth, some chickens, one duck and one Brown Swiss cow named, "Tater Chip", who calved a healthy robust bull calf that Jerry named, "Jake" on September 25th on this spot of ground we have as a small family farm.

Jerry was a Buffalo Bills fan, loved college and NFL football. Ginger believes Jerry has taken a piece of her heart with him. We would be remiss to not include our loving, kind community of neighbors who surrounded and supported us throughout both journeys. You have all been so kind, but we wouldn't have come to add so many more new names to our family of friends and our circle of love. So, thank you, we have been blessed. Yes indeed, Jerry too shall now lay down in heavenly greener pastures where the cows roam free. Oh Hunny, we tried.

"To find rest in Christ is to lay down in green pastures." Psalm 23:2
