Jerrol Wesley Cox

Jerrol W. Cox, 70, of Medina, passed away  at home on Wednesday, Jan. 4, 2023. Jerry was born on Sept. 6, 1952 in Barberton to the late Austin and Marilyn (Carbaugh) Cox and graduated from Medina High School.  A man that could fix anything, Jerry had worked as a carpenter, a mechanic, in carpet layer but his most recent and most enjoyable job was being a Flagger at the Mid-Ohio Race Track.  He was a member of the Sports Car Club of America and enjoyed Indy Car and Formula 1 Racing.  Jerry always had an eye for art and will be remembered for being a great craftsman. Surviving are his brothers and sister, Jon (James Sholtis) Cox, Jeff (Linda) Cox, Jason (Jan) Cox and Joy (the late Terry Alspach) Cox; nieces and nephews, Nichole (Michael) Zolikoff , Samantha, Hayden, Miranda and Austin Cox and his dog Buddy and his cat, Lyla that he loved.
