Jenivine Ann Tanner, 61, of Quaker City and formerly of Creston, passed away on Friday, Dec. 12, 2025, at the Cleveland Clinic after a brief illness.
Jenivine was born on March 18, 1964, in Wadsworth to Woodrow Sr. and Henrietta (Adkins) Jackson and married Randy Tanner on May 3, 2008, after having been together since Aug. 26, 1986, when they met. Randy preceded her in death on April 24, 2018. She had worked at Alco Services in New Philadelphia and enjoyed fishing and basking in the sun. Her family was her life, and she will be greatly missed.
Surviving is her daughter Christy Muller; her son, Ronnie McIe; her granddaughters, Selena (Ethan) Jackson, Jenna (Devin) Trotter and Jada Wellman; great-grandchildren, Elijah, Ezra and Malia; nephew, Bill and Angie Bucy and their two daughters, Hannah (Taylor) Thomas and daughters, Rylann and Delaney who she considered grandchildren and Emily Bucy; nephew, Robbie Bucy and nieces Carrie Lycans and Laura Jackson.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Randy, son, Jeffery Jackson, her parents, a sister, Carol McKinney and brothers, Terry Jackson and Woodie Jackson Jr.
Services will be Wednesday, Dec. 17th at 11:00 a.m. at Murray Funeral Home in Creston with Pastor Brian Hollis officiating. Burial following in Rittman Cemetery. Friends may call on Tuesday, from 6-8 p.m. at the funeral home.
