Jeannette Anne Sterling

Jeannette Anne Sterling, 82, of Fredericksburg, passed away at home on Friday, July 31, 2026, under the care of Hospice after a brief illness.

Jeannette was born on Nov. 24, 1943, in East Liverpool, Ohio to Joseph and Edith (Newlen) Reed and was a 1961 graduate of East Liverpool High School. On Jan. 26, 1967, she married Robert Dale Sterling and Bob preceded her in death on July 16, 2021.

Jeannette had worked at Citizens Bank and had retired from The Pub in Fredericksburg. She loved attending Twin’s Day in Twinsburg with her twin, Janet, traveling with Bob as well as with her Dad and Sister. Jeannette loved her cats but her greatest enjoyment was her grandchildren that she babysat and cared for.

Surviving are her; sons, Charles of Fredericksburg and Robert and his wife Kelly of Worthington, IN; 3 grandchildren, Cheyanne Sterling and Garth Martin, Dakota Sterling and Olivia Mullins and Dhyanna Webster; great-grandchildren, Avery Martin, Kellin Sterling, and Jocelyn Minks and Zane Hostetler and a great-granddaughter on the way; and a niece, Liz Wines.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Bob; her parents, a daughter-in-law, Amy and her twin sister, Janet Adkins in 2016.

Private family services will be held on Wednesday, Aug. 5th at Murray Funeral Home in Fredericksburg with burial following at Ohio Western Reserve National Cemetery. There will be no calling hours. Memorial contributions may be made to Ohio’s Hospice LifeCare, 1900 Akron Rd., Wooster, OH 44691.
