Jason Robert Stackhouse

Jason Robert Stackhouse, 37, of Creston, passed away unexpectedly at his home on Friday, Dec. 23, 2022.

Jason was born on Jan. 17, 1985 in Barberton to the late Rodney Sr. and Laura (Prentiss) Stackhouse and married Amanda Leidal Oct. 31, 2020.  He had worked for Sager Landscaping prior to his illness and always enjoyed working outside.  He loved off-roading and 4-wheeling and working on cars and trucks.

Surviving are his wife, Amanda and their soon to arrive daughter, Georgia Jean who is to be born in January; his brother, Rodney Jr. (Jennie) Stackhouse, of Creston; his “other brothers from other mothers”;  nieces and nephews, Sommer Fletcher, Carter Leidal, Russel and Peyton Duncan, Alexis and Addison Prentiss and Toby Leidal and many other kids that he thought of as nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Rodney Sr.  and Laura and a brother, David.

Friends may call Thursday, Dec. 29th from 5-7 p.m. at Murray Funeral Home in Creston.  A graveside service will be Friday, Dec. 30th at 2:00 p.m. at Wooster Cemetery.  Memorial contributions may be made to the funeral home to help with final expenses.  The family extends their deepest appreciation to the staff of the Fresenius Kidney Center in Wooster and his doctors for the care he received over the past 5 years.
