Jannie L. Moore

Jannie L. Moore, 68, of Rittman, passed away peacefully at home on Saturday, June 13, 2026.

Jannie was born on Nov. 27, 1957, in Widen, WV to Bill and Violet Louise (Adkins) Blankenship and had made her home in Rittman for over 45 years. She retired from Imperial Plastics in Rittman after 30 years and enjoyed gardening, canning, working outdoors and playing her video games.

Surviving is her companion of nearly 30 years, Jon Lowe; son, Jack Keen and his partner, Jennifer Worthington of Weston, WV; daughter, Jamie Slinger and her spouse, Jared McCune of Lore City, OH; grandchildren, Heaven McCune, Violet Slinger, Paisley Worthington and Jameson Keen; brothers, Glenn Blankenship, Roger Blankenship and Jim and his wife Sissy Ann Blankenship and a sister-in-law, Jill Blankenship.

Jannie was preceded in death by her parents; sisters Shirley Rogers and Janet Blankenship and a brother Raymond Blankenship.

A celebration of Jannie’s life will be held at a date to be announce.
