James Kendall Toler

James Kendall Toler, 64, of Rittman, went home to be with the Lord on Monday, May 27, 2024 as a result of an accident in Barberton.

Jim was born on Oct. 2, 1959 to James Ulie and Melba Leah (Salmons) Toler and married Brenda Lee Shane on April 22, 1978.  He had made his home in Rittman for over 40 years and loved attending the Rittman Community Freewill Baptist Church.  Jim also enjoyed throwing darts and throwing the football with his grandkids.

He will be greatly missed by his wife, Brenda; daughters, Leah Nichole Toler of Barberton and Casee Maree and her husband Randy Gibson of Rittman; grandchildren, Ian and Izaiah Gaugler and George and Holly Gibson; his mother, Melba Toler of Glen Daniel, WV and a sisters Pam and her husband Jim Sadzewics of Glen Daniel, WV.

He was preceded in death by his father; his brother, Tony Toler and his in-laws, Dean and Janet Shane.

Services will be Monday, June 3, 2024 at 6:00 p.m. at the Rittman Community Freewill Baptist Church with Pastor Steven Conn.  There will be gathering in the fellowship hall immediately following the services. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in care of Murray Funeral Home, 173 S. Main St., Creston, OH 44217.
