James William Mills

James William Mills, 69, of Wadsworth, died peacefully at his home on Monday, Dec. 21, 2020 after a two years battle with cancer.

Jim was born Dec. 17, 1951 in Wadsworth and attended Rittman High School.  On June 23, 1973 he married the former Cheryl Lynn Misere and they celebrated 47 years together.  He had worked for the past 35  plus years at Aldridge Folders in Wadsworth and always loved being with his family and doing whatever his boys were involved with.  Jim enjoyed deer hunting, boating, camping and trips to Mohican State Park.  He liked watching NASCAR racing and riding his motorcycle, having once built a Harley from scratch.  Jim will be greatly missed but is at peace.

Surviving are his wife, Cheryl; his sons and daughters-in-law, Chris and Gina Mills of Seville and Aaron and Sandy Mills of Rittman; 6 grandchildren, Hannah, Tanner, Alaina, Bobby, Brianna and Conner; a sister, Pam Frase of Rittman; a sister-in-law, Buttons Mills of Rittman and several nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents, brothers, Dan and Lee (Kay) Mills.

Services will be Wednesday, Dec. 30, 2020 at Murray Funeral Home in Creston where friends will be received from 12:00 noon until time of services.  Burial will be in Hillcrest Memorial Gardens.  Tributes may be shared at www.Murray-Funeral-Home.com
