Jacklyn Sue Teter, 76, of Loudonville, passed away peacefully on Monday, Feb. 26, 2024 at West View Healthy Living in Wooster after a courageous battle with cancer.
Jackie was born on July 28, 1947 in Millersburg to Jack and Maybelle (Firebaugh) Snyder and attended Wooster High School. She retired from Frito Lay in Wooster after twenty years of service and later worked at Woodlawn Nursing Home in Mansfield. Jackie was a member of the Holmesville American Legion Auxiliary 551. She loved camping at Arrow Point Campground during the summer with friends and shopping with her daughter, Tracy. Jackie loved all the special and wonderful times she shared with family and friends and she will be greatly missed.
Surviving is her daughter and son-in-law, Tracy and Mike Peters of Lakeville; step-sons and their wives, Kevin and Julie Teter of Massillon and Chris and Rosy Teter of Texas; grandchildren, Trent Peters, Zachary Peters, Dustin (Sam) Teter, Larry (Ashton) Teter, Christian Teter, and Kaylee Teter; great-grandson, Abraham Teter; a brother, Roy “Butch” and Sally Snyder of Polk, PA and her companion of 22 years, Lou Solomon of Loudonville.
Jackie was preceded in death by her parents, grandson, Colt Shoup; brother, John Snyder; sisters, Barbara Bowers and Ruth Barnett.
Services will be Saturday, March 2nd at 11:00 a.m. at Murray Funeral Home in Fredericksburg with Pastor Bud Stanton officiating. Burial will be in Prairie Township Cemetery.
