Jack Robert Jackson, 57, of Creston, passed away unexpectedly on Thursday, Oct. 29, 2020 in Kalamazoo, MI.
Jack was born in Elyria on Dec. 29, 1962 and was the son of Alan and Lynnette (Ross) Jackson. He graduated from Midview High School in Grafton in 1981 and married his high school sweetheart the former Tamara “Tammy” Bruce on June 2, 1984. He had been a truck driver having driven for Ron Burge Trucking the past 15 years and was well known throughout the trucking community. Jack enjoyed cooking on his grill, shooting his guns and spending time with his family. He will be missed.
Surviving are his wife, Tammy; his 2 sons, Randy (Kelly) Jackson and Jeffery Jackson both of Creston; his 4 grandchildren, Keegan, Amelia, Lillie and Maggie; his mother and step-father, Lynnette and Michael Green of Wooster; brothers, Keith (Deanna) Jackson of Millersburg, Lee Jackson of Holmesville and Dale (Kim) Jackson of Wellington; a sister, Gayle (Jeff) Phelps of Medina and nieces and nephews.
His father preceded him in death on Nov. 23, 1991.
Friends may call Wednesday, Nov. 4th from 6-8 p.m. at Murray Funeral Home in Creston. A graveside services will be held on Thursday, Nov. 5th at 11:00 a.m. at Creston Maple Mound Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be given in care of the family.
