Harold Franklin "Baldy" Rodeheaver, 73, of Burbank, passed away peacefully at home on February 28, 2024, after a period of declining health.
Harold was born on January 17, 1951, in Bitner, PA to Jame Robert and Helen (Boone) Rodeheaver. He also served in the U.S. Marine Corp during the Vietnam War from 1969-1971. On November 18, 1975, he married Denise Diane Goodwin. They made their home in Burbank for the past 40 years. Baldy was a self-employed truck driver for 38 years and was a member of Disable American Veterans. He could fix anything and everything, He loved his motorcycles and was a mentor to many area kids that he took into his home. Family was the most important thing to him. He will be greatly missed.
Surviving is his wife, Denise; his children and their spouses, Robert and Teresa Rodeheaver of Anchorage, AK, Mandy and Tony Lugo and Audra and Kasper Holmes all of Collinsville, OK; granddaughters, Audrianna Holmes, Kassidy Holmes and Yesenia Lugo. His extended family, neighbors (Donna & Leo Rowe and Darrell & Mary Tanner) and all the children he embraced like his own (Zac, Joe, Wayne, Kari, Tom, Buck, April, Paul, Lisa, Justin, Jerry, Jamie, Angie, and Shawn) and many others that loved and cared for him.
He was preceded in death by his parents and nine brothers and sisters, Catherine, Delores, Gloria, Ruth Ann, Ella, infant Elizabeth, Jim, Carl and Harry.
Services will be Thursday, March 7th at 1:00 pm at Murray Funeral Home in Creston with burial following in Ohio Western Reserve National Cemetery. Friends may call on Wednesday from 5-8 p.m. at the funeral home. Memorial contributions may be made to Ohio's Hospice LifeCare, 1900 Akron Rd., Wooster, OH 44691 or to Disabled American Veterans, PO Box 14301, Cincinnati, OH 45250-0301.
