Gwendolyn K. Marshall passed away peacefully on July 22nd , 2022, at the age of 88 from Alzheimers Disease.

Gwen was born on June 20th, 1934 in Seville, Ohio where she lived for most of her life. Beloved daughter of the late Dwight and Musa (Collins)  Marshall, loving sister of the late Dennis (Karen) Marshall, loving sister of Malcolm (Norma )(deceased), and loving sister of Brenda Marshall, who was a caregiver to Gwen for many years in their home. Loving mother to Eric Scheider (Tammie), Kurt Scheider (Vicky), Valarie Wittemire (Doug Stauffer). Loving grandmother of Kassandra and Jacqueline. Loving aunt of Mike, Kevin (Jan), Nathan, Alex and Brian (deceased). Loving great aunt of Cameron Marshall.

Gwen worked for Buehlers Foods in Medina as a prep cook until her retirement. She enjoyed cooking, baking, gardening, crystals, jewelry making and was a talented artist, having attended the Cleveland School of Art in University Circle. She always had a flair for fashion and loved to accessorize her outfits with handmade jewelry, which always received many compliments from family and friends. Gwen was an avid snow skier and enjoyed skiing in Ohio as well as Utah and Colorado with her children and grandchildren until she was 75. Gwen was also a cat lover and had many beloved feline companions during her lifetime.

Arrangements are being handled by Murray Funeral Home, 173 S. Main St., Creston, Ohio 44217. A memorial service celebrating Gwen’s life will be held on Friday, August 5th at 11:30 a.m. at the funeral home. Burial will be private. In lieu of flowers, the family suggests contributions to the Alzheimer's Association or to your local animal shelter.
