Together Again

Grace Steele, 96, went home to be with the Lord and is now reunited with her husband, Elza Steele. On June 9,1945 Grace and Elza promised each other for better or worse, richer or poorer, and in sickness and in health that they would spend their lives together. These vowels were not taken lightly as they continued to devote themselves to God, each other, and family.

They were blessed to be married 63 years and no time was wasted. Together they farmed, vacationed, motorcycled, played games, but most importantly they worshiped. They taught us that God and family were important.

We are so grateful for all the values, morals, and life lessons we learned from them. They taught us to trust in the Lord and that He will take care of us. It was this confidence that led to the joyful spirit they both had. Even after Elza left this earth Grace remained positive and always had a smile. She lived a life knowing for certain that they would be together again.
