Gloria Jean Zackel Ennis

Gloria Jean Zackel Ennis, 75, of Wooster, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, Oct. 2, 2024 at the Wayne County Care Center following a period of failing health.

Gloria was born in Medina on July 29, 1949 to Leonard and Marie (Willis) Olsen and was a 1967 graduate of Cloverleaf High School.  On June 9, 2010 she married Paul Lee Ennis Jr. and he survives.  Gloria had worked at Cambridge Home Health Care and at Buehlers in Wooster.  She enjoyed bowling, dancing, playing cards, cooking and watching her game show.  Her greatest enjoyment was her time with her grandchildren and she will be greatly missed.

Surviving is her husband, Paul and their children, Wendy Adkins-Bartoe, Tracie (Mike Schar) White, Shawn Traylinek, Scott (Stephanie) Ennis, Chadwick (Faith) Ennis and Heather Ennis and 30 grandchildren and 38 great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents, a brother, Bruce Burgenstein and a sister, Marie Olsen

Friends may call Friday, Oct. 4th from 5:30 – 7:30 p.m. at Murray Funeral Home in Creston. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Murray Funeral Home.
