Glenn Watts, Jr.

Glenn Watts, Jr., 69, of Wooster, died peacefully on Tuesday evening, July 17, 2018 at his home after a battle with cancer.

Glenn was born Feb. 9, 1949 in Wayne, WV to the late Glenn Sr. and Virginia “Janie” (Adkins) Watts. He and his father operated Asphalt, Paving and Excavating Co. and he had also been a truck driver. Glenn enjoyed fishing, hunting and spending time with family.

Surviving are his children, Ronald (Melissa) Watts of Wooster, Michael (Kelly) Watts of Wadsworth and Angel Huffman of Rittman; 9 grandchildren and 6 great-grandchildren; his fiancée, Carol Rose of Shreve; a brother, Johnny Ray (Trish) Watts of Wooster; his former wife, Beverly Watts of Rittman and nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents, a brother, Michael Watts and a sister, Patricia Spencer.

Memorial services will be Monday, July 23rdat 7:00 p.m. at South Main St. Church of God in Rittman with Pastor Jeff Ball officiating. Friends will be received from 6:00 p.m. until time of services. Burial will be in Rittman Cemetery. Murray Funeral Home in Creston is handling arrangements.
