Jim Miller

George James “Jim” Miller, 79, of Homerville, passed away peacefully at his home on Tuesday, Oct. 30, 2018.

He was born April 5, 1939 in Berea to the late George Clay and Lillian Beatrice (Denman) Miller and was a 1958 graduate of Lodi High School. On August 9, 1974 he married Ann Denzien who survives and Jim retired from Mack Industries. He enjoyed working on computers, cars, fishing and target shooting and loved feeding and watching the birds.

Surviving are his wife, Ann; children, Deborah (James Jr.) Daso of Lodi, Jim (Vivian) Fagan of Creston, Scott (Sophia) Fagan of Seville, Dawn (Ralph) Jones of Akron and Michael Miller of Akron; 6 grandchildren, Jacob Daso, Joshua, Jeremy, Scott, Steven and Spencer Fagan and a sister, Elsie Price of Lodi.

He was preceded in death by a granddaughter, Jessica Fagan and his parents.

Memorial service will be held Saturday, Nov. 3rdat 4:00 p.m. at Murray Funeral Home in Creston. A family burial service will be held at Maple Hill Cemetery in Homerville.
