Gary Lee Martin, Jr.

Gary Lee Martin, Jr., 63, of Wooster, passed away Tuesday, Nov. 23, 2021 at Smithville-Western Care Center after a period of declining health.

Gary was born in Wooster on Jan. 25, 1958 to the late Gary Sr. and Mary (Barker) Martin and was a 1976 graduate of Triway High School.  He had worked at Morton International and had made his home in Wooster all of his life.  Surviving are his children, Chad (Trina) Martin of Wooster, Gary (Amber) Martin of Creston, Corwin Martin of Wooster and Ryann Fox of Canton, IL; step-sons, Brad Ashwood of Yuma, AZ, Jeffrey Ashwood of Holmesville and Brandon Ashwood of Canton, IL several grandchildren; a brother, Paul Martin of Canton and a sister, Sheryl  Ball of Wooster.  He was preceded in death by his wife, Kathy Lynn Martin on Oct. 9, 2013,  his parents and a brother, Zachary.

It was Gary’s request that no services be held.  A family celebration of his life will be held at a later date.  In lieu of flowers,  memorial contributions may be made to Murray Funeral Home, 173 S. Main St., Creston, OH 44217 to help with final expenses.
