Gale L. (Cehrs) Cogar

Gale L. Cogar, 64, of Sterling, passed away on Tuesday, Jan. 3, 2023 at Wooster Community Hospital after a brief illness.

Gale was born on Jan. 5, 1958 in Lodi to Ralph and Janet (Hackworth)  Cehrs  and married Stephen Cogar on Oct. 9, 1976. The two were blessed with two sons, David and Mike Cogar and Gale spent her time raising her two boys. In her free time, Gale enjoyed camping, arts and crafts, and being around family.

Surviving is her husband Stephen of 47 years, sons, David of Dalton and Mike of Sterling; grandchildren, Logan and Alyssa and  sisters, Patty Zuber of Lodi, Sally (Bob) Gish of Wadsworth and Lucy Cehrs of Wooster.

Gale is preceded in death by her parents.

Services will be Saturday, Jan. 7th at 2 p.m. at Murray Funeral Home in Creston where friends may call from 12 p.m. until time of services.  Donations may be made to the family in care of the funeral home.
