Frederick R. Dudas, 74, of Brunswick, died Tuesday, April 26, 2016 at his home.
Fred was born Aug. 7, 1941 in Brunswick to the late John J. and Ella Mae (Haluska) Dudas and served in the U.S. Navy from April 23, 1959 – Aug. 6, 1962. He married the former Rose Marie McElroy on Jan. 5, 1963 and she survives. He retired after 30 years form Ohio Bell Telephone Co. and had made his home in Cleveland moving to Brunswick in 1977. He enjoyed doing origami, spending time with family and doing projects with his grandkids.
Surviving are his wife Rose; daughters, Sherri (John) Murphy of Glendale, AZ, Kelly Dudas of Medina and Kerry Dudas of Brunswick; grandchildren, Joshua Murphy, Jacob Murphy, Jeremiah (Nicole) Bullington, Sarah Rose Bullington, Savannah Rose Foote and Jason Frederick Foote and nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by brothers John and Duane Dudas and an infant sister, Clara.
Services will be Tuesday, May 3rd at 12:00 noon at Murray Funeral Home in Creston. Burial will be in Ohio Western Reserve National Cemetery. Friends may call Monday from 5-8 p.m. at the funeral home. Tributes may be shared at www.Murray-Funeral-Home.com
