Fred Thomas Vance

Fred Thomas Vance, 66, of Rittman, passed peacefully on Wednesday, May 27, 2020 at his home after a period of declining health.

Fred was born Feb. 11, 1954 in Harts Creek, WV to the late Maxil and Edar Mae (Adkins) Vance.  On Sept. 18, 1976 he married the former Debra Lipscomb and Deb survives.  He retired from Sealy Mattress in Medina and had made his home in Creston for 33 years moving to Rittman in 2010.  Fred enjoyed hunting and fishing and spending time with family.

Surviving are his wife; his three daughters, Tonya (Doug) Elliston of Rittman, Ashley (Chris Schultz) Perdue of Cleveland and Sara Vance of the home; grandchildren, Emily Perdue and Thomas and Nathan Elliston; sisters and brothers, Gladys Unangst, Maxine Dobbins, Dorsie Lloyd and Phyllis Riffle, John Henry Vance, Todd Vance and David Vance and many nieces and nephews.  He was preceded in death by his parents, a sister, Rose and brothers, Larry, Junior, James, Eddie and Connie.
