Ethel Louise Yost

Ethel Louise Yost, 98, of Burbank died Thursday, Jan. 9, 2020 at her home surrounded by her family.

Ethel was born on Aug. 30, 1921 in Prichard, WV to the late John Henry and Emma May (Buskirk) Fortner. She married Calvin Yost on Feb. 5, 1958 and he preceded her in death on Jan. 19, 2019. Ethel loved taking care of her children and grandchildren and she enjoyed collecting treasurers, sewing and croqueting.

Surviving are her children, Virgil (Helga) Robinette of Milford, DE., Bonnie Snyder of Ashtabula, Steve (Addie) Robinette of Asheboro, NC.,  Bill Robinette of Fort Gay, WV and Brenda (Rick Weahry) Shank of Burbank and many grandchildren, great-grandchildren and great-great- grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Cal; children, Janice Pittman, Donna Gray, Tom Robinette and Karen Jones; brothers George, William and John and sisters, Marie McSorley, Dixie McSorley, Blanche Talbert, Evelyn Kindig, Grace Huffman and Mabel Buckingham.

Funeral services will be Monday, Jan. 13th at 11:00 a.m. at Murray Funeral Home in Creston with Rev. John Castle officiating. Burial will be at Yost Cemetery.
