Esther Laney Kitts

Esther (Laney) Kitts, 91, of Burbank Parke Care Center, passed away on Saturday, April 15, 2023 after fighting a long battle of Alzheimer’s.

Esther was born March 17, 1932 to Julia (Billups) and Scott Dean in Fort Gay, WV. She worked all her life. She loved working in her flowers, gardening, canning, and loved sewing. Esther went to church and was a good Christian woman, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, and great great-grandmother. Esther loved listing to gospel music.

Esther was preceded in death by her husband, Herbert T. Laney and son Herbert T, Laney Jr. (Booner) and is survived by daughter, Shirley Truman and son in law Darrell Joe Truman of Newton, WV, daughter, Jackie Holland of Wooster, OH, daughter, Linda Cremeans and son in law Gary Cremeans of Brunswick, OH and daughter, Julie Poling of Creston, OH. Esther has 15 grandkids, 28 great-grandkids and 6 great great-grandchildren. Esther will be missed by so many. There will not be any service upon Esther’s wishes.
