Erven Wayne Miller

Erven Wayne Miller, 80, of Killbuck died Friday evening, Nov. 11, 2016 at Majora Lane Care Center in Millersburg following a period of declining health. Erven was born Nov. 9, 1936 in Barrs Mills, Ohio to the late Sylvenus and Evelyn (Plant) Miller and served in the U.S. Army from 1955 – 1960. On April 3, 1971 he married Edie Thomas and she survives and they had made their home in Killbuck since 1980 having previously resided in Dalton. Erven drove truck for the Cowen Truck Line in Perrysville and was a member of the Killbuck United Methodist Church and the Killbuck VFW. Erven enjoyed fishing and drag racing. He is survived by his wife, Edie; son, Wayne (Michael) Miller of Lakewood; daughter, Wanda (Donald) Sells of Hartville; brother, Raymond (Emelyn) of Molokai, Hawaii; sisters, Ruth Prather of Orrville, and Debra Spangler of Columbus; sister-in-law, Carolyn Miller of Massillon and numerous nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by a brother, Glenn.

Services will be Thursday, Nov. 17th at 11:00 a.m. at Murray Funeral Home in Fredericksburg with the Rev Ken Smails officiating. Burial will be at Sunset Hills Memory Gardens. Friends may call Wednesday from 5-8 p.m. at the funeral home. Tributes may be shared at www.Murray-Funeral-Home.com
