Erica Jeannette Umstead

Erica Jeannette Umstead, 38, of Orrville, died Wednesday, August 1, 2018 as a result of an auto accident near Burbank.

Erica was born Aug. 30, 1979 in Wooster to Ralph A. Petrick and Candace Emler. She had worked as a nurse’s aide and also a Compax in Wooster. Erica loved fishing, camping and outdoor activities. She loved spending time with her children and had participated in the Warrior Dash.

Surviving are her children, Cyrus Blaine Umstead and Nevaeh Jeannette Umstead; her mother, Candace Lint of Millersburg; her brothers, Curtis (Cheryl) Meade of Wooster and Roger Petrick of Loudonville; sisters, Carrie (Adam) Hoffman of Lancaster, PA and Pam (Roger Killinger) Beaire of Orrville and her grandmother, Betty Emler of Wooster. She was preceded in death by her Father.

Memorial services will be held Tuesday, Aug. 7th at 6:00 p.m. at the Unitarian Universalist Church of Wayne County, 3186 Burbank Rd., Wooster with V. Elaine Strawn officiating. The family will received friends following the service. Tributes may be shared at www.Murray-Funeral-Home.com
