Obituary:

Emma J. “Emily” Byler, 71, of Fredericksburg, invalid daughter of the late John J. and Sara Byler went to be with Jesus on Monday, Feb. 26, 2018 at 7:15 a.m. at home with her family by her bedside. She was born Dec. 17, 1946 and is survived by one brother, William J. Byler of Killbuck; 3 sisters, Martha (Jacob) Troyer of Fredericksburg, Anna Yoder of Deer Lodge, TN and Jemima (Dan) Shetler of Fredericksburg; a sister-in-law, Ella Byler of Apple Creek and many nieces and nephews. She was loved by all. She was preceded in death by her parents, a brother, Mahlon J. Byler; two sisters-in-law, Elizabeth Byler and Edna Byler and a brother-in-law, Eli D. Yoder. Services will be Thursday, March 1st at 9:00 a.m. at the Dan M. Shetler residence, 4196 Harrison Rd., Fredericksburg with Bishop Mahlon Shetler officiating. Burial will be in the Troyer Cemetery, Wayne County. Friends may call Tuesday afternoon and evening and anytime on Wednesday. Murray Funeral Home in Fredericksburg is handling arrangements. The family is very grateful for all the services that LifeCare Hospice provided.
