Emma Louise Croft

Emma Louise Croft, 83, of Wooster, passed away on Sunday, Jan. 14, 2024 at Divine Rehabilitation and Nursing Center in Wooster after a period of declining health.

Louise was born in Elkins, WV on March 17, 1940 to Oscar and Mae (Yoakum) Smith and retired from West View Manor in Wooster after 30 years of service.  She loved reading, traveling, trips to Florida, playing cards and Bingo and visits with her grandkids.

Surviving are her five children, Deborah Stack of Wooster, Frederick (Debbie) Croft of Barberton, Andrew (Rita) Croft of Wooster, Barbara (John) Conrad of Orrville and Christine (Bill) Croft of Tahlequah, OK; 10 grandchildren, 10 great-grandchildren and 3 great great-grandchildren; brothers and sisters, Oscar and Linda Smith of Barberton, Dottie Fletcher of Leesburg, FL, Jim Smith of Leesburg, FL and Patti Smith of Florida.

She was preceded in death by a grandchild; a brother, Don and sisters, Deloris Arter and Sally Burke.

Services will be Thursday, Jan. 18th at 1:00 p.m. at Murray Funeral Home in Creston with Phil Klinefelter officiating.  Burial will be in Wooster Cemetery.  Friends may call from 12:00 noon until time of services at 1:00 p.m.
