Emily K. Springston

Emily K. Springston, of Wadsworth, passed away on July 31, 2022 at her home.

Emily was born in Mansfield to the late Emil and Esther (Herr) Voyik. She was married to Lyda G. "Ike" Springston. Emily worked for several companies doing payroll and office work and had operated the License Bureau in Lodi. She was a member of Jerusalem Evangelical Lutheran Church in Seville and enjoyed reading, flower arranging and gardening, and studying the Bible.

Surviving are her children, Howard (Paulette) Stringfellow, Paul (Bobbie Jo) Stringfellow and Lisa (Dan Machar) Springston; step-sons, Richard (Linda) Springston, Tom Springston and Larry Springston; 10 grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, her brothers and sisters, Charles Voyik, James Voyik, Phyllis Schmidt and Jean Callihan and granddaughter Tammy.

A memorial service will be on Saturday, September 03, 2022 at 12:00 p.m. at Jerusalem Lutheran Church, 9282 Acme Rd, Seville.  A private interment will be at Ohio Western Reserve National Cemetery.
