Elsie Emogene Rinehart

Elsie Emogene "Gene" Rinehart, 89 years old, passed away on July 30, 2020.

She was born on November 22, 1930 in Milo, West Virginia to the late Benjamin and Elsie Nicholson.  On June 6, 1948 she married Earl S. Rinehart Jr. and he preceded her in death on July 29, 1991.  She had made her home in Ohio from 1948 until 2000 when she moved to Pensacola, Florida.

Gene was preceded in death by her parents; her  husband, Earl, daughter, Linda Greegor; and grandson, Ryan Martin.

Survivors include, sons, Bill Rinehart (Jill) of Slaughter, Louisiana, Don Rinehart (Kathy) of Bellville, Ohio; daughters, Kathy Klett (Dennis) of Pensacola, Florida, Diana Martin (Arthur) of Cabot, Arkansas; nine grandchildren; 25 great- grandchildren; and four great-great- grandchildren.

A private graveside service for the family will be held at Sherwood Memorial Gardens in Wooster with her son, Bill Rinehart officiating. There will be no calling hours.  Murray Funeral Home in Creston is handling arrangments.
